Property Description

Twin Maples Cottage is a spacious and comfortable pet-friendly vacation cottage in the town of Colonial Beach.

The Cottage has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed, one has a full-size bed and one has two twin beds. There is also a pullout queen size couch in the living room. There are two large screened in porches, and a fenced-in yard for your dogs or kids to run around in.

The living space at Twin Maples Cottage includes:

* three bedrooms, one with private bath
* two full bathrooms, one with shower only, one with shower & tub
* family room
* laundry area
* plenty of closet space
* two large enclosed porches (one for dining)

There are many dining options available to you when you stay at Twin Maples Cottage. The cottage is within walking distance of several good eat-in and take-out restaurants, and driving distance to many more.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, electric range, coffee pot, pots & pans, dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, silverware, etc. Plastic utensils and paper plates for picnics or beach-going.

There is a gas grill in back yard, dining table on the front porch that seats 8 and an additional small table can be added on for extra people. The back deck has a patio table that seats 6.

The Cottage sleeps 6 to 10 people. One large bedroom with queen bed and two optional hideaway beds. One medium bedroom with double bed (and private bath). One small bedroom with two twin beds. Queen-size pull-out couch in family room.

Note: There are two hideaway beds available, which are large enough for kids or smaller adults. The beds can be set up in the large bedroom and folded up during the day. Please let us know if you need these beds, so we can set them up for you. There is an additional charge for more than 8 people.

All bed linens and pillows are provided.

Other Amenities:

The cottage is a short walk to beach, town green, town activities, shops and stores, including golf cart rental store.

The cottage has a TV with VCR/DVD and Cable service and offers lots of VHS video tapes available for both kids and adults. There are also lots of games, cards, and puzzles for all ages and there is a computer with Internet access, as well as high speed wireless Internet connection for your laptop.

There are also bicycles available for riding around town, a portable crib and a high chair for your young child.

Location Summary

Colonial Beach is located at the tip of the Northern Neck, on the Potomac River. This beach town is a year-round hot spot with it's casino, upscale restaurants, and many events on and around the town green.

Whether your passion is hiking, fishing, golf, history, art, shopping, wines, or just having fun, there is something for you in or nearby Colonial Beach and the Northern Neck.

Colonial Beach is also a golf cart community and is surrounded by an area rich in our country's history. The town beach, the boardwalk, antique shops, great restaurants, coffee shops, a casino, wineries, state parks, and historical sites are all within either walking distance or a short driving distance from the cottage.

2007 marks a special year for the town of Colonial Beach. The 55th Annual Potomac Riverfest in June is being combined with special events commemorating the 400th Anniversary of John Smith's famous Chesapeake voyage.
